Unique wedding venue, historic charm, beautiful private garden
Noise levels from street traffic were quite disruptive!!! It’s inconvenient that there’s no lift for accessing the upper floors. The steep stairs might not suit everyone’s needs. Taxi arrangements could greatly improve too!!!

The ambiance was lovely, with a unique historical
Character that added to the charm of the stay. The included breakfast was freshly made to order, but unfortunately, some items ran out quickly. I appreciated the effort of the staff but felt they could improve on responsiveness during busy times.

good location but room needs attention
The quaint design of the hotel added a unique charm to my stay. I found the bed to be incredibly comfy, ensuring a restful night. Staff in the bar/restaurant were friendly and attentive, making dining a pleasant experience. I appreciated the good value at €100 to €150 per night for a couple.
The room showed signs of wear and needed some upkeep.

The Conyngham Arms Hotel definitely has a cozy vibe. The historic charm around the place is delightful. My room was well decorated and comfortable. I appreciated the quality linens and a great shower. there were some hiccups, mainly with the TV in my room. It didn't work properly and it took a long time for someone to address it. I was also a bit disappointed by the dinner experience. although the food was tasty, strong bleach smells filled the dining area during meals, which was quite unpleasant. I had issues with the gluten-free options too, despite giving prior notice. The staff seemed friendly, but I felt they could be more attentive to specific requests. Breakfast had a decent variety. I enjoyed the local ingredients they used. the ambiance was nice but service consistency needs attention for a better experience.

This place was just an appropriate option for a day tour in Slane with real value for money. The room was very nice, and the strong smell of bleach gave it a freshly cleaned feel. Ask for vegetarian options at breakfast before you sit down.
